Established in 2015, Mivida Events & Entertainment is an entertainment provider and event production business that offers professional creative services for private and corporate functions, venues, weddings and festivals.

We specialise in Latin American, Caribbean and Afro-Cuban entertainment. It is our passion, it is where our entertainers are from, and it is our professional speciality.

Entertainment Type
Our entertainment service is from drum and dance Brazilian Carnival shows to Spanish, Cuban and Jazz musical duos to 5-piece or full-band sized ensembles, from party entertainers and private dance lessons.

Our aim is to share the spirit and colour of Latin American and Spanish culture through what we do.

Mivida Events & Entertainment is owned and operated by former Conservatorium of Musician Jo Anne Zamora Gante, who has been involved in the Latin music and dance industry for over ten years. Formerly an event manager for international touring artists from Colombia (Fonseca, Grupo Niche) U.S.A (Willie Colon) and Dominican Republic (Juan Luis Guerra), she is also a performer of Brazilian and Cuban Dance styles and teacher/owner-operator of Mivida Movement, a leading Brisbane Dance and Wellness business.

Jo Anne uses her knowledge of the industry, professional marketing and branding experience to hand-pick quality and professional artists who share values of professionalism, quality service and authentic and original cultural presentation.

Mivida Group is also a creator of Brisbane leading Latin Dance Academy My Little Havana, in addition to providing its services to Government Representative bodies including the Dominican Republic Ministry of Culture, and Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) leading tour and travel businesses such as Calypso Travel and Brisbane very own Brazilian Festival.
